12.02.26: GSP: Focus Lab book

Workshop for PhD students and postdocs

From 9 to 13 February, Love Data Week (LDW) will take place, an international week of action focusing on research data and research data management. Under the motto ‘Where's the Data?’, data love will be celebrated worldwide in 2026 with numerous events on a wide variety of topics. An ideal opportunity to attend our course on laboratory notebooks!

This advanced course focuses on the topic of laboratory record keeping. In a compact format, participants learn the most important basics and reflect on their own knowledge and the significance of laboratory record keeping for their everyday research work using practical examples and exercises. They acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to document and manage their research effectively and responsibly. Participants will gain first practical insights into the use of the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) eLabFTW, which is currently being introduced at OVGU.
